This nation seems to be completely divided since last week. I can understand why, and most of the people reading this will too. Facebook has been flooded with frightening stories, strong opinions, burning bridges with loved ones just because they didn’t vote or voted for someone you didn’t vote for. It’s a sad place to be right now and I’m trying to stay away from it.
As a woman, I can’t sit still and be quiet. I don’t think it’s a surprise to anyone that I’m very passionate about equality. I will stand up for what I believe in. I will build people up and encourage everyone. I will show my children love and kindness towards everyone. They will not bully. They will not hate because someone has a different skin color, religion, opinion. Quite simply, they will not be raised to hate.
I will not show them how afraid I am of what the next four years will bring. I will continue to fight for my rights and for the rights of everyone. I will be an ally.

2. Be kind to everyone. You know the phrase “Kill them with kindness.” Do it. Spread love. Don’t spread hate. Don’t spread fear. LOVE ONE ANOTHER.

4. Continue to fight for what you believe in. Write to your state representatives, call your senators, fight the good fight! We will prevail. This is only a roadblock to a more unified nation.
