Today is my one year anniversary with this blog site. One year ago today I wrote a heartfelt blog about living in the moment and leaving Disney World.
Why? Because inspiration finally hit. I lived without it for many years. It took one person to tell me to follow my passion and get back into it because he would be a fan of it. I did just that. About twenty-some posts later, I’m learning to write more and not scrap everything.
That same person gives me so much inspiration. Yes, most of what I post is about mushy love stuff. But that’s just where I am right now.
I was just talking to a friend about how I long for the day that I don’t have to go home anymore. I can’t wait for that day that I’m home with him. All I want is to go to bed with him every single night. I want to go to the grocery store with him and cook dinner every night. I want to stay up late on a week night and watch hockey on the couch. I want to spend our weekends doing silly things with the kids. I want to just sit on the couch in silence as he rubs my legs and we both catch up on news stories. It’s good to have someone that makes the most mundane things feel exciting. We talked about how fun it will be to pass out candy to the little kids and how I will dress up and put all of our dogs in matching costumes. We have our life planned. But three silly little hours keep us from that right now. Rude, I know.
But this guy is my biggest inspiration, best (and hottest) cheer leader. He does so much for me. I don’t know what I did to deserve this amazing man. So I should thank him and wish him a happy writing anniversary. This wouldn’t be here if he didn’t lovingly push me to write again.
