Facebook is ridiculous. And when I thought it couldn’t be any more ridiculous, Facebook quizzes started being generated. Sometimes I take them when I’m waiting on my car’s oil change. Recently I saw one about my word for 2016, so naturally I clicked on it.
It’s almost funny. I’ve been undergoing plenty of changes this year, and surely more as the year ends and 2016 begins. I’m almost like a butterfly. I’ve certainly shed my old, unhappy self. I came out of that a much happier person. More hopeful and excited for every day, and especially the future. Sure there has been plenty of things that have pushed me around, but I never threw in the towel. I’ve realized there are so many things in my life that I love and am thankful for. I’ve already changed.
I’ve made myself better for these two. (The kids, but I’m sure Mickey would be happy to know that.)
I’ve followed the advice from this coffee sleeve. I’m also incredibly thankful for that day. Completely worth taking the day off work because it helped jump-start something truly wonderful.
While this needs no explanation. I follow this every day and find something great in everything.
And lastly, I’m thankful for finding this. Someone who makes me feel like a princess.
So I’ve changed plenty. But I’m still excited for the changes to come and the journey to get there.
